Local Weather
Annual rainfall in Los Cabos is 10 inches; the coolest months are December and January. Storm season is July to October. Average water temperature is 70 F. Average air temperatures range from 50 to 80 F. in winter to 70 to 100 F. in the late summer and fall. The Pacific side of the peninsula averages 10 degrees F. cooler than the Sea of Cortez.
From November to May, the temperature averages 75F during the day and dropping to the 60s at night. From June to October, temperatures may rise to the high 90s F and reach 100+F during the day; falling to the high 70s and low 80s at night. During the summer months, the water temperature can reach the mid 80s. The climate is arid with over 300 days of sunshine per year.
Bring resort clothes, sunscreen, a hat, sunscreen, running shoes, sunscreen, a light jacket, and don´t forget your bathing suit, sunglasses, camera, and that sunscreen! If you´re planning to fish or be on the water, bring warmer clothing for cool mornings and evenings, and a long-sleeve shirts and long pants for sun protection. Did we mention sunscreen?
Time Zone
Los Cabos and Baja California Sur are in the Mountain Standard Time Zone, and follow Daylight Savings Time changes.
