Playa Costa Azul

Location: Costa Azul arroyo
Access: Km. 29, go under the bridge and park in the arroyo. The breaks are below and east of the lookout above San Jose Bay.
Attractions: World famous surfing beach, services include Zipper’s Restaurant, a mini market, surf lessons and board rentals. A few palapas for shade.
Swimming: Swim with caution and watch out for surfers!

 


 Hotel Zone Beach

Location: Hotel Zone Access: Through any of the hotels along the beach and the Las Palmas access near the Fiesta Inn in San Jose del Cabo.
Attractions: This long wide beach wraps around San Jose Bay and is excellent for horseback riding and strolling, and watching the many local shore fishermen in the early morning and late afternoon.
Swimming: Not recommended: strong surf, deep drop off, and undertows.
